PREPARATION
1. The ritual begins with separating the cocoa into small pieces on a board. For a little heart-opener and high-energy day , use 20-25 grams of cocoa. For a ceremony, use 25-30 grams .
2. You can also heat 300ml of water or your favorite plant milk on a low setting . But be careful that the milk does not get too warm so that the secondary plant substances are not lost.
3. You can add some salt and spice and drink the cocoa the way the ancient Mayans and Aztecs used to drink it. If you prefer it sweeter, you can add honey or vanilla instead and stir with a whisk and of course lots of love. :)
When it comes to seasoning, you can be creative and try things out. Just see which spice you like most in your cocoa! (e.g. saffron, pepper, caramom, cinnamon,..)
4. When the cocoa has formed into a homogeneous mass, you can now pour it into your favorite cup and enjoy it at your ceremony!
YOUR RITUAL
I invite you to build your very own temple and feel-good place. You can decorate it with candles, white sage, Palo Santo, crystals, flowers,... whatever you feel comfortable with. I n an otherwise overstimulated everyday life, this should be a place where you can devote yourself to your cocoa ritual and come to yourself without any rules.
Set intention
As soon as you have made yourself comfortable at your altar, perhaps lighting an incense stick or a candle, you can now relax. To do this, breathe in and out deeply at least three times.
Go within yourself and see what you want from Mama Cocoa for today. This can be, for example, more serenity, peace, understanding, clarity or an answer to a question.
Once you have found your intention, mentally speak it into the cocoa while holding the cup in front of your heart with both hands.
Let the magic of the cocoa spirit work and unfold!
You can now drink the delicious cocoa at your own pace and connect with the cocoa spirit.
Now you have the space to design! Meditate, turn on your favorite music, sing, dance. How you carry out the ritual is entirely up to you. Do what your heart tells you and enjoy how the wonderful effect of the cocoa bean unfolds in your created space.
gratitude
Finally, thank yourself and the cocoa spirit by closing your hands once in front of your heart and finally again between your eyes - your so-called third eye. Take this feeling of gratitude and love with you into your day and spread it out into the world! ♡
